From the beginning, the Siamese Cat Club Chorale never kept a formal membership list. Ceilidh Flurrydance, founder and Mewsical Director, felt that enny kitty who wanted to sing should be able to join and sing enny time.  That way there were always enough kitties for enny purractice or purrrformance. But after a while, when Ceilidh wuz thinking about slowing down and turning over some of the responsibilities of mewsical direktor to her bestest frend and Furst Assistant Conduktor, Skye Silversong, she realized that it would help Skye get to know the singers if they made a roster of all the kitties who wanted to be onna formal list. And it would help noo kitties get to know the other singers. So here are some of the kitties who sing inna Siamese Cat Club Chorale on R.P.C.C. (just clik onna name to see thuh kitty uv your choice, or scroll down thuh paij to see alla kitties):

Oh -- and as you will see, not alla kitties are Siamese (an not alla kitties are kitties -- we haf speshul auxliary members too!). The Chorale started as an activity of the Siamese Cat Club, but furry quickly it began including all kitties who wanted to sing, because the more kitty voices the better!  Enny kitty is welcome to join the Chorale, but of course there's something really speshul about the sound of the beeyoutiful Siameze voice!

In the summer of 1998 Ceilidh became sick with intestinal lymphoma, and her kitty friends from r.p.c.c. sang her song for her to help her heal from her surgery. They also sang it while sitting vigil with her the night before she went to the Rainbow Bridge.  It made her hoomin have wet eyes, to hear alla kitties singing for Ceilidh, and we know it helped Ceilidh feel better while she was fighting the good fight and then while she was preparing for her journey to the Bridge.

Ceilidh Flurrydance passed peacefully on to the Rainbow Bridge on January 9, 1999, where we are quite sure that she is now busy organizing the Rainbow Bridge Chorale.

Skye Silversong, 2nd Mewsical Director. Skye began her career in the Siamese Cat Chorale as  Furst Assistant Conduktor and bestest frend of Ceilidh Flurrydance. Skye is a wildshy kitty who never said a word when she first came to live in her OneTrooHome at Bitterroot Manor.  But after a while she decided that it was okay to say something if something needed said, and that's when she first sang in her pretty silver voice. She is a smoke and white tuxedo kitty (that means her guard furs are black, but underneath the under furs are white -- it makes her fur shimmer when she moves). Here she iz singing while her bestest frend Ceilidh gits ready to turn thuh mewsic paij. Skye is also a Highland Dancer in the McClowder All-Kitty Pipe Band and purrformed for Presicat Clarence at the Inaugurashun Purrade.  She worked hard for the Chorale behind the scenes, but when Ceilidh got sick in the summer of 1998, Skye began to be seen more and more on-stage as she took on some of the directing responsibilities of the group. When Ceilidh passed on to the Rainbow Bridge, Skye took over as Mewsical Director, and led the Chorale in many exciting purrrformances before leaving for the Bridge herownself just two years later. Skye Silversong began her journey to the Rainbow Bridge on June 2, 2001, where she was welcomed by her bestest frend Ceilidh Flurrydance.  We're sure she is once again helping Ceilidh as they expand and develop the Rainbown Bridge Chorale.

Talisker Pippin, 3rd Mewsical Director. Talisker Pippin is usually found playing the drums inna band or the Celtic bodhran inna pub, an she plays snare drum inna McClowder All-Kitty Pipe Band.  But when Skye Silversong departed for the Rainbow Bridge, Tally agreed to take over management of the Siameze Cat Chorale, especially since it was agreed she could continue to play her drums at the purrformances.   And as you can see from this picture of her and her meowmie, she does a remarkable job of singing when she wants to, so we are looking forward to seeing the Chorale grow and develop even more inna future.

Kitsen T. Cat. Kitsen is a long-time member of the Chorale. She purrfurs to sing either second or furst sopurrano, but she is furry fursitile and can sing alto if needed. Her current favrit songs are toons from mewsicals (especially a moovie called Newsies) cuz she has to listen to her hoomin Alison singing and playing them alla time. She also likes swing mewsic and most other kinds of mewsic too. (Kitsen was the hostess of the Halloween Hop that alla Ballard Bunch kitties attended and had a furry gud time.)

Arizona. Arizona was a sealpoint Siamese and he had a nice mellow tenor voyce. He was afraid of nothing and his hobbies included mad dashes fru the howse an nokkin thuh kittens down.  We are sorry to report that Arizona Newfield departed for da Rainbow Bridge on March 11, 2000, after a valiant fight wif cancermonsters.  His famlee an da Siameze Cat Chorale will miss his presence an his clear tenor voyce, but we are shur he is now adding luster to da Rainbow Bridge Chorale.

Diamond. Diamond is a spotted sealpoint Siameze and she is a soprano like her sisfur Sapphire. Diamond is a TuffGirlKitty, and is furry gud at puffin herownself up and fluffin her tayle reely big. Her hobbies include inteereor decorashun; one recent improvement to her howse's decor included furry nice claw marks on her meowmie's noo bafrum wall and noo bedrum door.

Sapphire. Sapphire is a another spotted sealpoint Siameze, and she has a soft high voice.  She's a liddle shy so doesn't do solos. She says she is furry quiet, which is a rarity for a Siameze, but furry useful when thuh choir needs to sing softly.

Sierra Blue. Sierra Blue is a bluepoint Siameze and he has a powerful voice and likes to sing solos!  He's a tenor, and says he's the tuffest and loudest kitty in his howse. He likes to serenade his meowmie with thuh d*g Dakota Brown early inna morning. We know his meowmie appreciates alla his fine mewsical talents.

Isis. Isis is half-a-siameze, on her catmommy's side. (Her catmommy is Wanda, a seal-point Siameze. Her catpoppa is a rollin' stone only her momma knows.) Isis is all black but otherwise luks just like a lean sleek Siamese. She has a reely gud siameezy loud voice an sings all kindsa songs. She sez she's like Ella Catzgerald, an offers this sample song, as loud as can possibly be!

Snowstorm, Vanilla, Charcoal, & Marshmallow. These four kitties from Aunti Tigrlily's Menagerie entered thuh Chorale as a quartet (their hoomin still has to send us a pikchoor of Charcoal!). They're haff Siameze an haff Tabby, so they luv to sing bof thuh Chorale's feemesong, We Are Siamese, an thuh Tabby Cat Club anthem, I Am a Tabby. (Wanna sing these songs too? Munchkin. Munchkin was a sopurrano Birman and shared her meowmie's gift for mewsic.  They sang together, and she used to help her play the piano in her younger days. Munchkin was one of thuh mewsical Koster Kats who contributed two holiday songs, one fur Kissamouse an one fur Noo Yeer's, to thuh Chorale's Songbuk. Munchkin was also a member of the HPCC (Himalayan and Persian Cat Club). Sadly, Munchkin passed on to the Rainbow Bridge in January 1999.  Her sweet voice will be missed.

Priscilla. Priscilla is a chocolate point SOC (Sophisticated Older Cat, ofur 10 years old) who has been a member of the Siamese Cat Club Chorus frum the very beginning.  She says that she thinks she's singing even better these days since TED (The Evil Doctor) stole all her toofs, because now they don't get inna way of her beeyoutiful singing. Priscilla is joined in the chorus by her brother Demon (5 years old), another chocolate point who also has a furry beautiful voyce. Her other brother, Bozo ( a 13-year-old bluepoint) doesn't sing very much, though of course any Siameze has a beeeyoutiful singing voice by definition.

Bobbie. When Bobbie joined da Chorale she was the only gurlcat among the Rankin kitties (da numbers uv RankinCats haf grown a lot since then!).  She still stands out as "kinda da Janis Joplin of da groop" (even though she wuz named fur Bob Dylan). Efurrycat agrees that her contributions are a unique and entertaining element of the Siamese Cat Chorale. As Bobbie notes, "Sum hoominz claim dat mine singin' sounds like Iz bein' murdered or caught unner a rockin' chair, but we all know dat hoominz don't alwayz appreciate ourz talentz." Of course the Siamese Cat Chorale has always appreciated Bobbie's talentz. Bobbie sez she can sing most any kinda mewsic 'cept Opera, and maybe if somehoomin did rock on her tayle, she could sing Opera just fine too. Bobbie loves anysong Janis Joplin efur singed, and some uv her favrit songs include Under da Burd-walk, Lord Won't Yew Buy Me a Noo Toy Mousie?, Eleanor Big-Flea, While Mine Guitar Gently Weepz, Amazin Grace (the feemesong of the Comeback Kitties, inspired by her bruvver Samson), and Free Fallin (which reminds her of her winkwink, Tyler).

Surr Topham Hatt. Surr Topham Hatt (Top Hat to rpcc-ers and friends) comes from a fine heritage, with a Siameze mom and a dad named Al E. Cat. He sings a great solo tenor, as his hoomin meowmie confirms, saying that he sings "so low you can't hear him, ten or twelve miles away."  (We think there's a liddle hoomin humor there.) Top Hat's favrit songs include Simple Cats ("'Tis a joy to be feline, 'tis a joy to be cat"), and this song that he wrote hisownself, to thuh toon of "Memories" from thuh mewsical Cats:

Pandai and Byron. Pandai and Byron are Abyssinians, whose singing makes a beeyoutiful counterpoint to the Siameze voices inna Chorale. They also play piano, and Pandai has been known to catpose luvly songz onna piano. They live wif their bruvvers, Arvid and Duncan, who purrfurr not to sing inna chorale right now (though Ceilidh an Skye remind them that they would be welcome any time).

Thai Wan Ahn.  Thai Wan Ahn is one of the newest members uv thuh Chorale. She is half Siameze, wif eyes like sapphires. She is a Comeback Kitty, on account of being trapped and rescued from the woods behind Burger King by her hoomins, Boss and Kid, in April 1998. Her cat meowmie wuz a pastel calico kitty, and Thai haz pastel markings on the left side of her face. Her cat poppa was a sealpoint Siamese kitty, which accounts for her beeyoutiful siamese markings and voyce. Thai lives in her OneTrooHome now wif Boss and Kid and her real bruvver Julius, and hopes that her real sisfur, April, will join them soon.  Thai wuz especially fond of her Unkle Omar, offishul unklekitty to the Comeback Kitties, and her furst appearance with the Chorale was at his memorial in July 1998.

Fancy and Rosebud.  Fancy and Rosebud were nominated for the Chorale by Thai Wan Ahn, and joined fur da Jellicle Ball in October 1999.  Rosebud wuz a noo babykat den, an babykat voices are always nice to heer.  Fancy is a cullerpoint, an he haz a furry nice voice too.

Cher Bear. Cher Bear and her sisfur Cigi (RB) were among thuh furst members of the Chorale. Cigi has gone on to the Rainbow Bridge, but Cher Bear still purrforms effury chance she gets, and we hear there are some noo babycats at her howse (Tara and Shadow), who are apt to be ready to join up any time now.

Liddle Bit. Liddle Bit lives with the cats at the Jesse Memorial Cat Complex, where she sings along wif Momma Jo an Momma Beff when they sing. Liddle Bit is winkwag frends wif thuh the kitty Sirius (whose hoomin is Aunti Kate), an one time when Sirius was singing wif thuh chorale, she wanted to be wif him. When we heard her singing (which, as she notes, her hoomins call "howling"), we thot she added an extra speshul sumfing to the vocal mix and were happy to welcome her as an honorary member of the Chorale.She can howl wif the best of them, and is also a member of the One Ear Up Club on R.P.D.M.(rec. pets. dogs. misc.).    Little Bit left for the Rainbow Bridge inna summer of 2003.  She wuz a gud frend to her catz an to Mommas Jo an Beff, an dey will always remember her wif luv.

Giuliani. Giuliani is the furry furst d*g to be given the title "Honorary Cat."  She received this at the first kitty prom, when she went as the date of Spike, VC (her kitty housemates thought they were playing a trick on her and Spike, but Spike was a purrfect gentlecat and a gud sport: he escorted Giuliani and his mentee, Talisker Pippin, to the prom and their grand entrance was one of the highlights of the event). The prom marked the Siamese Cat Club Chorale's debut purrformance, and Giuliani, "thuh sheperd inna brite yellow prom dress," sang some popular Elvis numbers with the Chorale to the delight of efurrykitty there.

Onyx. Onyx (the black kitty onna left inna pikchur) sings tenner inna chorus, but he is probably better known as the composer (wif his hoomin Cory) of "Good-Bye Furry Frend," a song he wrote when Merlin thuh Philosocat went to the Rainbow Bridge.  Since then, "Good-Bye Furry Frend" has been purrformed at many memorial services for other kitties who have gone to the Bridge, often with Onyx singing solo (accompanied by Shahna onna violin or piano) and the Chorus purring harmony inna background. As purrformer or composer, Onyx has been a valued contributor to the mewsical life of RPCC. ("Good-Bye Furry Frend" can be found inna SCC Songbuk; fangu to Onyx an Cory fur giving purrmisshun to include it there.)

Sassy. As you can see from her pikchur, Sassy was a spectacular vocalist even when a kitten. She has recently joined the Siamese Cat Chorale, and is especially looking forward to purrforming kitty-hoomin duets wif her meowmie (a whole noo mewsical experience fur thuh chorale!). Sassy lives in Mew Yawk City wif her hoomin Kami an sevural other kitties (and a urban d*g), though she feels that she would purrfurr to be an only cat. She is proud to be a TuffGurlKitty, and we are certainly looking forward to the speshul qualities she will bring to the Siameze Cat Chorale.

Mietze. Mietze is part uv thuh Clowder (South), and is furry cheerful, ushuallee walking on tippytoez wif a happytayle. She duz not enjoy haffing hertoez or hertummy played wif, but hermom can do ennyfing she wants to wif herface. She sez herdad is skairt ov her (heehee!) but hermom isn't. Mietze singz and tawkz to herself lots and lots, speshuly when she'z all byherownself inna breezeway.  She is a mezzosopurrano, an can sing nice hi burbles an eeeeees. We luved thuh hi notes she sang when she joined thuh Chorale: "LA LA LA LA .... MEEEE MEEEEE MEEEEE MEEEEE! It's meeeeeeeeeeee....Mietze!"

Captain Midnight. Seen here practicing one of the many arias in his repertoire, tenor tomcat Captain Midnight, the Good Luck Black Cat, is active throughout the Community. He is a Second Detective, Catmerica Police Department, and a member of the BCC, the PCC, the BFCC, Tuxedo Nation Certified and Potter Kitties Approved.  At home he is Chief Grocery Inspector and Coleslaw Keeper. .The Captain's mewsical contributions to the Siameze Cat Chorale are enjoyed and appreciated by his many fans and fellow Chorale members.

Nicholas has a furry beeyoutiful singing voice, as attested to by his menny frends, who encouraged him to join the Chorale when they heard him singing the Tabby Cat Club feeme song ("Oh, I am a taaabeeeee!  All covered wif fur....!") He also has a world class purr, which will be put to good use when purring harmonies are required.  Nicholas was born inna OUT an lived thuh first 10 weeks of his life as a feral kitten.  However, just before Kissamouse 1998, he wuz rescued by his meowmie and lived with her and alla Renegades, including Socrates, Persephone, Elektra, and his adoptive daddy Sam, until he went on walkabout a while ago.  Nicholas has won the heart of alla kitties an hoomins who have met him, and he promises to be a bright star in the Chorale's future as soon as he comes home frum his menny advenchurs. .

Persephone is anuther Renegade kitty, who is half Siameeze an keeps her meowmie constantly entertained wif her singing.  Most recently she encouraged her hoomin to join her in a liddle singalong, an reported, "I drove [Meowmie] crazee last nite!  Heehee.  She wuz yellin, Persephone, SHUT UP, an makin efen more noise den I wuz!  It wuz fun."  Persephone is also a TuffGurlKitty, combining a luv uv art wif an advenchurus nature.

Ebony.  Ebony lifs in Singapore wif her sisfurs Jaeger an Sheba. She sez she has been practissing fur da Siameze Cat Chorale fur a long time, an we're happy she finally feels ready to join us.  She is especially gud at helping kitties wif their breeving techneeks, an makes a striking addition to da chorus.  When she joined, she asked if we rekwired toonfulness, but we assured her dat efurry kittyvoice is toonful an beeyoutiful!

Spook.  Spook is another Mew Yawk Citee kitty, an lives wif Sassy, another member uv da Chorale. Spook's furst appearance wif da Chorale wuz at the 1999 Jellicle Ball, where she volunteered to sing a solo uv Memrees. Hermom says her voice sounds just like Betty Bukleez, who singed in on da Mew Yawk Citee staje in da show CATS.  It's clear frum her picture dat Spook loves to practiss singing.    Da whole Chorale wuz shocked to learn dat Spook left suddenly for da Rainbow Bridge in da fall uv 2003, but we are shur she's now a valued member uv da Rainbow Bridge Chorale.

Kissa and Willow.Kissa (l) and Willow (r) live together wif dere bruvvers Oz and Voodoo.  They bof have luvly soprano voices (dere meowmie sez so), an they joined the Chorale at the 1999 Jellicle Ball.  Willow was also a competitor inna Beaverwate divishun of da 1999 Kitty Soomo Tournament, so you can see how fursatile da Chorale members can be.

Mollie.  Mollie is another soomo-resslin member (Hamsterwate divishun) of da Chorale.  She is brown-tabby-an-wite kitty, two yeers old when she joined da Chorale, an a "peepul luffer."  She sings alto and is particularly good at call-an-response type songs.  She is also a songwriter, an purrsented her own furshun of "I'll Be Seeing Yew" at da 1999 Jellicle Ball.

Licorice and Scooter.  Licorice and Scooter joined da Chorale together, and their furrst appearance was at the 1999 Jellicle Ball, when Licorice was a three-yeer-old tuxedo boy kitty, wif yellowy-green eyes, and his sisfur Scooter was a ten-yeer-old all-white gurlkitty wif one bloo and one yellow eye.  They are bof altos, but once inna while, when da mewsic calls for it, Licorice can his some purrty high squweeks.

Cecil Gerald.  Cecil Gerald is one of our more unusual (and cullerful) associate members.  He is a baby Cadbury monster who hatched frum a Cadbury Easter egg by Nathan and Muffin and he was adopted by Tasha and SS.  He's been learning as much as possible since then and has joined the rpcc kitties for parties and advenchurs.  He likes being with kitties and doggies but hasn't ever met another Cadbury monster.  He sings real good.

Buddy and Holly.  Buddy (l) and Holly (r) count themselves among the RankinCats (they're numbers 7 an 8 in that howsehold!).  They sing fur their supper efurry day, an they sing louder an longer den all da big RankinKatz put together.  An az yew can see inna pikchurs, they luk like Siameze catz too.  When applying fur memfurship inna Chorale, they pointed out that neither of them hardly sez a werd unless fud was inna pikchur, but of course there's always lotza gudgud fud at rehearsals an wunderful boofay tables atta partees an concerts, so that wuz no problem.  They joined the Chorale as babycats at da "wise ol' age of thirteen weekz."

Harmony.  Harmony is a black gurlkitty who shared wif us "Welcome Furry Friend," the companion song to "Goodbye Furry Friend" she and her meowmie dreamed about after her sisfur Melody left for da Rainbow Bridge.  We're shur that she heard it just the way Ceilidh and the Rainbow Bridge Chorale singed it!  Wif her name, Harmony is a natural for da Siamese Cat Chorale (an we're certain her sisfur Melody signed up fur da Rainbow Bridge Chorale as soon as she got dere -- wif dat name, how cud she miss?)  Ennyway, Harmony tells us dat Melody used to be the chatty cat inna howse, but now she meows and chirrups at her Meowmie and her noo Paw a lot more.  She also has taken ofur Melody's jobs of following her Meowmie and Paw to da litterbox room and sitting at the foot of the recliner chair so her Meowmy duzn't fall off.  As yew can see, Harmony iz a furry bizzy kitty, an we're glad she has time to give to da SCCC.  An we wanna say fangu fur letting us inclood "Welcome Furry Friend" inna Songbuk.

Kitty Schottland, Chief Tortie in Residence, is an active and beloved catizen of RPCC, and sings in a lovely Mezzo-Prano voyce.

Rosebud.  Rosebud joined the Chorale for the Fifth Annual Jellicle Ball when she was a yeer old.  She sez she's "sorta Siameez anna sorta tabby."  She's tan an creem, wif pale strypes an bloo eyes, an iz a peteet kitty,
